Over the years, one of the most common questions we get asked is “Can you make the printer with this build volume?”. Traditionally, large 3D printers can be difficult to scale to specification due to the requirement to supply very large, heavy gauge lead screws. The Elevator is entirely belt driven. Its printer frame is the Z rail. This results in minimal parts and effort being required to increase the Elevators’ overall printing dimensions. Further, the use of rails as opposed to lead screws on the Z Axis completely eliminates unwanted “Z Banding”, considerably improving the overall print quality while further reducing freight and product cost.
