I repaired a loose x-axis motor wire that was causing skipped steps (https://cultivate3d.com/forums/topic/frustation-issues/page/3/) and changed to a 50 watt heater cartridge to fix thermal runaway issues. After that I printed out a part that had bad z banding.
It turns out I had a faulty part cooler fan wire, I repaired the wire and the banding was not as bad but still present. Prior to the above changes the banding was not noticeable. What makes it stranger is the side of the print closer Y0 had really bad banding and the side closer to Y500 had very little banding. Any idea what’s going on or how to fix? The pictures don’t really show how bad the banding really is.
