I want to try out Repetier V2 firmware and I’ve got it loaded but I’m getting a heater error. The symptoms are I’ll set the hot end to 200 but the heater will not heat up past 120 then the printer halts on a heater error. It has been suggested that the wrong heater curve file is being used by the Repetier firmware and that makes sense to me because the printer works as expected with Marlin 2. That being said what is/was the stock thermistor for a V2 circa 5/2019 and where do I get temperature curves for this thermistor? The link to this discussion is here https://forum.repetier.com/discussion/7866/hot-end-temp-plateaus-before-reaching-target-temp#latest

It isn’t thermistor curves…I tried several different curves all with the same result.

V2 is released? heading over there now.

Have you tried running a PID autotune or a different thermistor profile? Im pretty sure it should be an epcos 100k.

Im betting your hotend IS actually getting to temperature and maxing out, just that it thinks its cooler than it is.

A Thermocouple is a useful tool for debugging this kind of stuff.
